The latest generation of green: with the EcoLine range from edding, marking doesn’t get much more sustainable than this!
Are you already using sustainable markers? The latest developments in the edding EcoLine range mean it’s now even easier to help create a greener future!
As a result of ongoing investment in research and development, edding are now successfully incorporating post-consumer plastics into our EcoLine products. This post-consumer plastic waste, such as used yoghurt pots, watering cans or even discarded buckets, now accounts for 83% of the plastic used to produce our EcoLine permanent, whiteboard and flipchart markers – and when the total amount of recycled material is calculated, this figure increases to at least 90%.
The result of all this means that, our Ecoline range is aiming to be greener than green. And for the sake of our environment, the sustainable use of post-consumer material, helps to save up to 83 tonnes in CO2 emissions every year – which equates to the emissions produced by a car driving around the world ten times!
So join us in, taking the next step towards a greener future, with the next generation of EcoLine products: including the new edding 25 permanent marker – a fine 1mm bullet nib permanent marker, launched in response to frequent customer feedback and demand. Or choose from the established and trusted edding EcoLine 21 & 22 permanent markers, 28 & 29 whiteboard markers or 31 & 32 flipchart markers - that have all undergone the post-consumer material development.
The range finally includes the edding 24 EcoLine highlighter, where at least 90% of the cap and barrel are made from renewable resources. And it goes without saying that in addition to all our EcoLine products, the majority of our standard products are also refillable - avoiding unnecessary waste and guaranteeing a longer product life.
